Shiny is a Double IPA that pours a glowing yellow color in the glass, with heaps of foam rising above it. Utilizing a bright and tropical blend of New Zealand hops, it bursts with juicy aromas. Nelson, Paradisi, and a touch of Manilita pop with notes of papaya, red berry jam, lychee juice, and vanilla cream. Four colors. Endless combinations. A world of imagination. Grass, Fire, Water, and Electric—each with its own personality, each calling us to play. The hunt is on as our friends change shape and we strive to master the game. In between familiar colors, something gleams and dazzles in the light. That Shiny flash hits us like treasure hidden in the sand.

A little more bitterness in this hazy DIPA than other Tree House brews, but very good overall.

Pint can with cool artwork showing the Tree House logo on a Pokemon-esque trading card (gotta drink 'em all!). Canned 3/17/26. Poured into a Tree House-branded Teku glass.
Light orange/yellow color - leaning more yellow, full-on haze not completely opaque, glows when held up to light. There is about a 3/4 inch white head, that settles to a ring and thin film. Nice lacing is left as sheets ringing the glass.
Pungent aroma of hop oils along with mixed tropical fruits - guava and papaya, a hint of citrus, a bit of grassiness.
Flavors of pungent hop oils and tropical fruits, with a bit of grapefruit on the finish. Light but very present bitterness from start to finish.
Medium body, with a good softness.
I have been enjoying the IPAs Tree House has been brewing using New Zealand hops. This one is up there with the best of them.

Pours cloudy gold/yellow color with a 2 finger thick foamy white head that faded slowly and left really nice lacing. Smells of lime, tangerine, passion fruit, coriander, floral notes, yeast and biscuits. Tastes like it smells with lime, tangerine, passion fruit, coriander, floral notes, yeast, biscuits, plus the additions of lemon zest, orange peel, tart grapefruit, yuzu and puckering citrus. It’s really bitter but hides the ABV well and has an incredibly smooth mouthfeel.

Pours cloudy opaque golden yellow orange with a dense creamy white foam head. Smells like red berries, redcurrant, raspberry, papaya, guava, passionfruit, mango, pineapple, white grapes, gooseberry, lychee, grapefruit, orange citrus, vanilla, cream, slight caramelized bready malt, with dank resinous earthy herbal grassy floral pine. Tastes like vanilla, cream, grapefruit, orange citrus, lychee, gooseberry, grapes, pineapple, mango, passionfruit, guava, papaya, raspberry, red currant, red berries, slight caramelized bready grainy malt, with dank resinous earthy herbal grassy floral pine. Feels medium plus bodied, creamy with smooth moderate carbonation. Overall a really great hazy DIPA.
