A: opaque deep black even held against a light
S: Dominated by roast malts (coffee, much subtler deep cocoa). Optimistically a sweet black berry, red currant aroma on the end. No real hop presence.
T: initially follows the nose. Coffee and chocolate. But as it develops, an awesome blackberry flavor comes forward. Sweet and tart like a good black raspberry ice cream.
M: medium minus. No booziness, Smooth.
O: high rating due to the unexpected late predominance of the blackberry.
