look; very pale golden, very effervescent, half inch foamy head dissipates quickly leaving thin soapy lacing
smell; fruity citrusy funky and yeasty all at once, overripe cantaloupe, esters, grapefruit peel, wet grass clippings, not overpowering at all, pretty subtle for all that seems to be going on
taste; dry, hoppy, yeasty, grassy and crisp with hints of cantaloupe, honeydew, kiwi, and sourdough bread
feel; crisp, yeasty, bubbly, a little light, started out with a 3.5 score because of that but changed to a 3.75 then a 4 because it feels right for this beer. the hops, bubbles and flavors could support a little more gravity but that doesn't mean they need to, there's just enough breadyness in the finish.
overall; very nice, very fresh tasting, the taste and smell combine to make a hoppy light farmhouse with a built in bread, cheese and fruit platter

New brewery from local making some interesting beers. New fresh hopped ale, let's see. Bottled on 9/16/15.
Pours a nice foamy bubble almost 1 finger head that fades at a fair pace, decent soapy lacing though, crystal clear lemony golden color.
NOse brings nice farmhouse saison yeast, little funky, dry bready notes, great phenols and touches of fruity esters, little grassy and floral, mild citrusy note to the hops but not a lot, mostly grassy floral hops, very bright and effervescent.
Taste brings more of the same, but hops come through a bit more, bright grassy hops, again floral, some citrus notes and fruity flavors, with mild to fair bitterness. Farmhouse saison yeast is nice again, nice phenols again mild, light esters, little funk that balances nicely with the bright hops, quite tasty. Finish is dry with nice lingering grassy floral hops, a little fruity again, mild farmhouse saison yeast flavors with light phenols lingering, decent bitterness, crisp feeling.
Mouth is med bod, soft crisp almost lager like, nice carb.
Overall quite nice, very enjoyable, great farmhouse yeast flavors balance nicely with the hops, although wish the hops were a bit more pronounced especially on the aroma, but still a very nice beer.

Drinks more like a Saison than an IPA.....but a very satisfying beer.
