Best served 45°+
Poured a chocolate brown color with a 3F head in a tulip.
The head took a few minutes to resolve.
The aroma is not very strong but good: light chocolate, malt, some fruit.
The taste, especially with warming is excellent. Strong chocolate, some fruit, roasted malt, with a mildly hoppy finish.
An excellent Red Ale and different than others in the style. There's a stronger chocolate roasted malt quality in this beer unlike many other Red Ales. More malt forward. The bitterness is not overdone nor sharp. To fully appreciate this beer, serve at 45°+. I really enjoy the beers from this newer brewery. Not over the top, approachable, and very drinkable.
