Pint can
A straw, pale golden color, lively with a decent haze that seems practically opaque. The white foam cap stands strong, very slow dissipation brings the bubbly foam to a thin layer, very active and bubbly center that seemsvto keep fresh suds flowing. Not much in the way of sticky lacing or chunky foam, this one is much more crispy and lively, less dense looking than most really big NE style ipa's.
The nose is strong with sweet and earthy notes of pineapple, citrus, honey sweet golden malt, dry summertime grasses and wet hay. The hops give off a fun, lightly tropical fruity sweetness that is rather impressive.
This one just shouts JUICY. Light and tropical fruity flavor's, melon, pineapple, big citrus with dried wheat and herbs makes up the hop taste. Juicy, then quickly bitter tones of dry earth and grapefruit. Sour and bitter citrus is enhanced as the alcohol heat mingles within. The feel is very light grainy and crispy, yes, juicy and even slightly dry from the bitter, earthy side of the hops toward the end.
This one is bright and fun..WAY too fun for a DIPA. After all, it's a juicy, hazy NE style ipa so the light malt and lively effect just keeps it rockin' in the free world.
