From the 16 oz.can. Not date that I can see. Sampled on May 20, 2018.
The pour is a slightly cloudy looking light amber underneath a foamy white head that fades down.
The aromas are kind of vibrant with esters of tropical fruit, citrus, orange, pear, and a lesser note of Belgian yeast and barley malts.
Medium body.
While the aroma is bright and vibrant, the taste is more subdued and emphasizes the Belgian Pale ale side of the beer. Breaded sweetness with a spicy presence and the citrus zest seems faded. But overall it ends refreshing and is easy drinking.

Excellent, large head which subsides very slowly leaving a superb rockiness. The liquid is very cloudy with a lemon-amber color.
Thin smelling with a bit of sourness. Some yeastiness. Overall, the aroma is weak.
Spritzy carbonation but with a slightly rich body. The flavor is far more bitter than I expected based on the smell. The hop bite is straight-up bitterness without any complexity. The yeast bite is also fairly strong. Long aftertaste.

Pint can into a fancy Stella glass.
A platinum blonde color, hazed out style with a thick, fluffy all white foam crown.
A funky, musky, earthy and herbal style nose. Robust belgian yeast funk in the form of sour earth, corn, minty leaves and tangy banana. Hearty and earthy grains, dried leaves and spices round it out.
An incredibly, rich and crisp taste and mouthfeel is rather impressive. Hearty grains, wheat, herbal and spice kick with a crispy then smooth mouthfeel. A very light and fresh approach but with really good complexity, especially from the Belgian derived yeast strain taste. Thankfully not as "banana and clove" heavy, like most American, Belgian-style beers can be. This one has much more going on, especially for light Pale Ale. The El Dorado hops come across a bit light, but provides some nice, earthy, grassy and spicy notes.
An easy pale ale with Belgian funk and hearty hops!
