Poured into glass from can. Pours a hazy pale gold with substantial foam. Hazy. Really bright and strong dry hop aroma of citrus and mango. Carries through into the flavor with a subdued malt backbone. Firm bitterness. Medium body. Amazingly strong aroma when I cracked open the can, did not disappoint. Highly recommended though it doesn't quite look like the lagers you might be used to.

Poured into a lager glass.
The appearance was a cloudy burnt yellow color with a two finger's white foamy head that slid off fairly quick. Some bubbles intertwined with the foaminess. Lotsa messy lace.
The aroma chewed on a mellow biscuity sweet malt then some stifled grassy sweet hops with a light citrusy dry hop effect. Slight lemon as it warms.
The flavor mildly leans towards the sweet side of the hops and malty blend. Sly sweet bready to biscuity aftertaste with some citrusy hops.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt as projected. Crisp biscuity to citrusy pulpy finish.
Overall, this was a pretty nice session India pale lager. I'd have again.

Pours a bright whitish-gold hue with a thin head into my glass. Fluffy, buttery with a touch of citrus in the nose. The mouth is enveloped with pine resin. It almost reminds me of a decent pilsner. Hella decent bitter finish. I feel that the hops overwhelm the palate and don't allow more of the malt to shine through. Still worth a try.

A: The beer is very hazy pale yellow in color—too hazy to see if there is any visible carbonation. It poured with a short bright white head that hardly died down.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of grapefruit and tangerines are present in the nose.
T: The beer has citrusy flavors of tangerines within some associated hints of sourness and a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite citrusy and even has a little bit of sourness.

Poured from a 16oz can into a pint glass. Straw in color with a thick haze but not completely turbid. Has a peppery, slight lemony hop aroma with bread-like malts in the background. Flavor is certainly hop forward but has more bitterness than I was expecting (thankfully). Notes of line, white pepper and some lemon rind balanced by crusty bread from the malt. Crisp mouthfeel with a bone-dry finish.

Overall it's a nice take on a session IPL. It is quite similar to Jack's Abby Clyptra, Stillwater Yacht and Carton Sit Down Son. Recommended especially if you like the aforementioned beers.

P- Poured from a 16 oz can, into a Cigar City pint glass. No visible date on the can.

L- Thin soapy white colored head, with low retention and moderate lace.Hazy straw colored body, with distorted clarity.Low amount of carbonation, low amount of sediment.

S- On the nose I get fruity lemon, citrus, and mango up front. Some spicy and floral hops in the background.Very hop forward for a lager, lots of fruit and earth notes.

T- The palate follows the nose with fruity lemon zest and grapefruit up front, and earthy pine and spice, with a return of lemon zest on the finish.Very fruity up front, and earthy on the back end.

F- The mouth feel is medium with a chalky texture.Prickly oxidation on the tongue, with a slightly dry finish.

O- This was an okay beer. Not something I would look for,but not something I would turn down either.Give it a try, and decide for yourself.

Half pint on tap at the brewery in a stange type thing.

Appearance: Cloudy straw, pillowy white head.

Aroma: Lemon, pine. Somewhat tropical; kind of a mango sort of note.

Taste: Follows nose. Fruity, hoppy, flavorful IPL. I'd have guessed it was an IPA if I hadn't known.

Mouthfeel: Very sessionable. Alcohol is barely there.

Overall: Very well executed IPL. Great hoppy beer for a hot day.

No can date, and interesting canned lager.

Pours a big fluffy creamy white head that hits a finger and fades at a med pace, messy lacing, very hazy murky lemony pale tan color.

Nose lots of lager malts, toasted grainy, raw bread dough, sour dough, big creamy wheat and oat mash, a touch of lagering minerality and fruity ester notes, a little lemony maybe tartness, faint grassy noble hops.

Taste brings a weird grassy herbal hop, spicy bitterness, orange rind and lemon peel, hops really overpower the rest of the beer, some spicy minerality again, almost earthy rock minerals, a little straw and grainy bready malt, raw bread dough, a bit of soft lagering, but hard to get past those crazy spicy herbal hops and minerals. Finish is drier side, huge lingering spicy hop bitterness.

Mouth is lighter bod, fluffy carb almost too much, little creamy wheat, astringent hop bitterness.

Overall what a let down, started with a decent lager, then just turned into a mess.

Foamy head with big white bubbles; white and not dense. Dissipates very fast, though. Lacing is like, existent, though.

Straw yellow with very small particles. Pretty hazy but I can still see my finger through it.

Surprisingly citrus hop aroma for a low ABV lager. Some malt and grain as well; almost like corn or something.

Feel is good; refreshing and good carbonation level. Truly perfect for what this type of beer is. Not aggressive, but not too thin, a little foamy, and smooth.

The flavor here isn’t strong, but there’s some hop citrusness, some malt sweetness, and an overall light sweet presence and feeling that provides a drinkable and smooth experience. This isn’t a strong flavor blast, nor a mildly malty, thin and plain lager. A good beer, headed by lighter, hoppy flavors, which I'm not typically used to in a lager.

On tap. Very thin lager with obvious citrus tones in aroma and taste. Smells pretty interesting. Tastes like citra hops over a light lager... not sure if that's good or not. Overall I would drink it again but not sure I would seek it out.

Pours a dark hazy orange with little head. Smells of pineapple and citrus, sweet. Taste is light, crisp, sweet, biscuity maly and hoppy with a bitter finish. Refreshing and easy to drink. Really cool IPL.

Whitish, lemon color. Very cloudy. Large, slowly dissipating head (it crowned over the glass edge. Excellent lacing, nearly blanketing the glass.

Light, pale malt starting aroma but this is quickly dominated by a grapefruit hop nose.

Slightly tart with a strong "green", prickly hop bite. Highly carbonated with a thinnish body. The swallow and aftertaste have a weedy flavor, creating a long aftertaste.

A snappy hopped-up lager that lends itself to easy drinking. Pours a straw-gold out of the can; more cloudy than clear as you can make out the faint outline of your hand through the glass. Aroma and taste of orange, mango and lemon zest with a crackery malt body. Crisp, well carbonated and finishes with a light bitterness. Big on hops and drinkability.

On-tap 1/27/2017 at Natty Greene’s Tavern in North Attleboro, MA, served in a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a light gold color, with a thin off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains lager yeast, grassy hops, light caramelized malts and citrus.

T: The taste starts out bready with flavors of lager yeast and a hearty but not too heavy malt character. Then a strong grassy hops bitterness comes in. There’s a mild citrus and caramel sweetness that brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly bready.

M: Crisp and smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a solid beer to drink for a while.

Poured from a 12 oz can.

Pours a hazy golden straw color with a finger of bright white soapy head. The head settles into a thin film, leaving a cobweb of lacing as it dissipates.

The aroma brings lots of spicy, floral hops, as well as plenty of citrus. There's also a fair amount of sweet dough with just a touch of grass on the back end.

The taste follows the nose. Starts off very floral, with some notes of lemon and spicy hops not far behind. The finish is very yeasty and dry, almost like biting into a saltine cracker.

The feel is medium-light bodied with lively carbonation. Very crisp and very refreshing. Lightly dry with some lingering bitterness.

Overall, a very good hoppy lager. It's light and easy drinking, and definitely a refreshing beer.

Cloudy, orange/yellow color, light lacing. Light hoppy smell, and a nice hoppy taste especially for a session IPL. Medium feel on the body. Solid overall

From 09/16/14 notes. 16 oz. pour in a pint glass at Row 34 in Boston, MA.

Pours a murky golden-yellow color with one inch of bright white head and moderate carbonation evident. Citrus hops and a grapefruit bomb, lots in the nose and taste. Light lemon and floral notes, bready malts, and grains. Medium body and moderate carbonation, light bitter bite.

Overall a pretty good IPA. Lots of grapefruit notes to it, worth checking out.
