Poured from a 16oz can into a Speiglau IPA glass.

Look is a bright orange with tons of hops particles floating in it.

Aroma is a slight orange blossom honey.

Taste is much more straight bitter with a touch of malt sweetness.

I feel like the score on this beer suffers because its an IPA from New England that isn't a standard NE IPA. The beer is intensely bitter with a nice malt balanced and drinks super nice.

I liked this...it was better than I expected..basic good standard for a NE IPA. By no means top of the line but an enjoyable and accessible beer with character.

A- Can pours into a snifter with a deep golden body that is slightly hazy and also has some serious chunks floating around. The cap rises up to about two fingers high with a frothy consistency and decent retention. Several large webs of lace decorate the glass.

S- Citrus hops lead the way with mostly things in the orange spectrum but also a hint of grapefruit. Backing this are hints of pineapple, earth, pine, floral hops, a tropical touch and pale grains which donate a bit of sweetness.

T- The hops once again open things up with citrus, pine and floral notes up front cascading into floral, earthy and herbal hop character. Orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, light mango and intense citrus pith are specific things that come to mind. A backing of cereal, bready and pale mashed barley for the hops. Light-medium sweetness and a kiddie size hint of caramel.

MF- A puffy and frothy texture to the medium overall body. The bubbles land with a very high level and the brew has a bit of a slickness on the palate. Ends with a sharp citrus peel bitterness.

Overall the brew highlights citrus, pine and floral hops more than anything else more subtle hop notes backing that as well as a medium strength malt bill, for the style recently.

12 oz. Can sample.

I have not yet looked into what strain or strains of hop is usee in this brew. The hops give off a very bold and unique aroma. Wet earth and honeydew mellon, pineapple and herbal blends. Mostly mellow and some starfruit from the aromatic qualities of the hop based aroma.

It's physical appearance has a muddy, opaque, orange-amber and golden hues color. Dense foam head. Good retention. Plenty of suds in a ring leftover.

The taste...big juicy hops man! Mellon. Various mellons. Starfruit and citrus, pineapple with a hint of dry, earthy and herbal tones. The malt is nothing but crisp, light and slightly sweet. There is a balance but it is truely dominated by fruity/mellon and citrus tasting hops. Not super complex, although interesting for sure.

Drinkability is pretty high as it juicy and lively....the mouthfeel is medium with a dense, crisp bite and rather dry in the finish.

Overall more unique than complex, but the citrus and mellon hop taste really takes over, especially at the end.

12oz undated can.

Pours hazy gold with an orange hue and a moderate head/retention. Aromatics are fruit forward and a bit unique. Melon rinds, mango skins, tangerine peels, and mild pine. Medium bodied and a bit slick. Tropical fruit on the palate with a balancing bitterness and a pithy bite. Some sweet malt follows through. Finishes with lingering melon, mango, and orange.

Not a bad beer but the hopping combo is quite melon-rind forward, and the beer is a bit malty and sweet for a modern day IPA.

Had on tap. Pours hazy, orange-gold in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is pine, orange, and caramel malt. Slightly bitter, medium bodied and carbonation. Makes for an interesting introduction to Bunker. Solid but not spectacular IPA.

Ruddy brown orange in color. Turbid with a bunch of floaties. Lots of yeast in the bottom of the can. Grapefruit pith, Grapefruit zest and pine. Lower sweetness. Dry, bitter finish. It's odd. Malty yet, juicy. It's ok.
