Great look: cloudy golden color with a 4F head in a Spielgelau IPA glass.

Aroma: not pronounced- citrus, earthy.

Excellent taste: citrus, earthy, grapefruit.

Very hoppy finish.

Excellent beer. However, I was looking for a greater blend of flavors. What were the hops used in the beer?
Why not disclose this? It’s important for the beer geek to know the hop profile, and some of the brewing process.

Bunker & Lost Nation Collaboration

Mildly hazy pale straw golden color featuring an all white, slightly fizzy foam cap. Recedes rather quickly.

The nose has a large amount of earthy, peppery and tangy citrus tingles from the hops. Very grainy scented golden malted grains and then the hops give off a certain melon and clove effect that is pretty interesting. Bold aroma overall.

This has a very active and crisp liquid body, light and effervescent. Smooth middle and excellent dry bite in the finish
The hops are seriously earthy tasting with a pepper- dosed cantaloupe flavor with stone fruitiness galore. Spicy and earthy hops in a bold and complex fashion is exactly what I like.
The malt has a crispy golden wheat and wild summertime grasses flavor and feel with maybe some pilsner tones, but with an ultra clean yeast.

Man, you would never guess it was 8% abv. Comes across much lighter without sacrificing complexity.

16oz can dated 8/4/19.

Pours cloudy gold with a short-lived head of white. Fruit punch in the nose. Candied peach, pineapple, pear, and a hint of lime. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Juicy, ripe tropicals on the palate with zero malt and a medium bitterness. Grapefruit, peach, pear, melons and pineapple.
Finishes with loads of candied hops.

Poured into a Nordic pint glass not sure when it was canned. Pours an attractive hazy orange yellow with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves scattered streaks of lace, with solid retention. 4

Smell green grapes, honey dew, papaya, and white grapefruit rind. 4

Taste follows green grapes, melon, papaya, apricot, and some slightly bitter grapefruit in the bold lingering finish. 4.25

Mouthfeel is above medium, gentle carbonation, slightly sticky, and at 8% ABV goes down easy, but hits you palate a bit aggressive and lingers after every sip. 4.25

Overall this is a very nice NEDIPA that stands out a bit, but that is nice once in awhile because some haze is often one dimensional. 4

Bottom rim stamped "07/17/19."
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a semi-burnt yellow stifled orange bright color. Quickly dissolving foamy head. Barely any lace.
The aroma had a strong danky semi-eye burning oniony stemmed quality pushing some piney hoppy substance in and out while allowing some peach skin to come in underneath.
The flavor seemed to lead with the dankiness and brought in some iced onions with peach skin sweetness. Mild aftertaste of danky onions.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Good carbonation. Some stickiness right before the finish which was basically oniony and somewhat danky.
Overall, a very danky beer. For me again, possibly.

Growler from Bunker in Portland, ME. Pours a murky pale gold, minimal head, smell is spicy/dank pine pitch dipped peaches, taste follows the nose with sticky ripe stone fruit and hints of green/dankness, this beer is creamy with good carbonation. The fruitiest hoppy beer I’ve had from Bunker so far. Yum.

16 oz. can.
Collaboration with Lost Nation Brewing.
Canned 05/08/19.
Moderate pour yields a 3/4 inch white head over a hazy, golden body with some lacing. Nose of tropical fruit, some citrus, some pine, and something like berries or currants. I'm going with currants. Taste mirrors the nose somewhat with a nice and easy pine bitterness throughout, (Maine is the pine tree state after all!) finishing with orange and orange pith. Wow, complex, yet so easy drinking and delicious. Real nice feel and overall, this is highly recommended to seek out. Cheers!
