Bottle from the brewery in Portland, ME. Pours black with a tan mocha head that lingers, smells like sticky toffee cake, sweet bourbon, dark chewy chocolate brownies, taste is warming bourbon up front, that transitions into thick sweet dark chocolate hot cocoa (like the chioccolato caldo from that spot in Venice, with the chocolate spoons), toffee, molasses, nice roastiness, this beer is thick/viscus. Thick bourbony/chocolatey/roasty goodness. A no f***ing around Knife-in-the-eye-of-a-skull classic BA stout.
