Named after Maine’s state bird, Chick-A-Dee uses 100% English floor malted barley and is lightly hopped with East Kent Goldings. It has a fantastic full-body flavor with a light sweet note and creamy nitro character.

From a 16 oz. nitro can dated 12/07/22. Sampled Feb 19, 2023.

The appearance is nitro-influenced with its amber brown color, slight cloudiness, and tremendous and retaining cream colored head.

The aroma includes caramel malts, toffee malts, butterscotch, and toasted bread with a lower profile earthy bitterness.

Light mouthfeel but creamy.

The taste is sweet ands malt forward with a cleanliness to it. Then those traditional earthy English bitterness characteristics roll in at the end and linger on the palate. Nicely done. Very authentic.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 10/15/22, so 3 weeks fresh.
A - Beautful cascading toward the bottom pour, full Nitro affect, lasting creamy off whte cap during the experience.
Dark straw color, with a touch of haze, a beauty in the glass.
S - Earthy grains, a touch of caramel, warm wheat toast. Hops are Kent Goldngs so threads of grass, and hint of citrus.
T - Right down the middle, light brown sugar, toasted grain, bisquit, earthy hops. all in the mix
M - Medium n body, creamy texture, on the sweet side of the scale, but just barely. Excellent hop bite to keep hings moving toward a pleasantly dry finish. Best tasting burps in a long time!
O - A very good pub bitter, I hope that the brewer keeps this in its porfolio.
I certainly will keep it in mine

Served from the nitro can in a Lagunitas mason jar.

Pours an ever-so-slightly hazy sunset auburn topped by a finger or so of cream foam. The nose comprises grass, flowers, rather light lemon zest, dry biscuit, and light toffee. The taste brings in more of the same, a vague hint of walnut creeping in every now and again (though I may be paranoid about that...). The body is a light medium, with a light, nitro-induced carbonation and a subsequently smooth feel. A rather nice, disturbingly drinkable bit o' bitter.

Really enjoying this beer - been consistently drinking this every weekend the past two months. Packaging: 4 pack of tall boy nitro cans.

Malty, floral, creamy and moderately bitter. Gets better as it warms near room temperature. Long lasting head, mellow carbonation, flavorful but light enough to enjoy over the long haul. Delicious.

Poured from a 16 oz can purchased at 802 store. No birth date. Pours smooth, clean, and brownish yellow with a thick head and subsequent lacing. Goes down smooth with notes of caramel and subtle sweet malt. Very good for the style.

Nitro can.

Smooth and easy drinking English ale. Toffee, bready and biscuity malts. Touch of caramel and honey. Toasted crackers. A bit of orange citrus. Earthy, zesty, crisp, clean. Very drinkable.

Not sure I’d be able to tell if this is nitro, but oh well.

Nitro can. Hazy caramel color with dense lasting head. Earthy caramel leafy aroma. Sweet but not cloying caramel brown sugar and some subdued fruit with medium-light earthy herbal bitterness. Medium-light body very smooth. Very good interpretation of the style (and at this point I'll drink anything that's not an NEIPA).

Nitro can
Pours a med-larger creamy rich foamy head with upside down waterfall, great retention, bit of lacing, very hazy reddish-orange color

nose brings nice herbal floral UK hops, mild cracker malts, grainy, with a little fruity note,

Taste brings more herbal floral UK hops, little grassy herbal like, with a bit of bitterness, light grainy malt, smooth nitro without a lot of nitro flavor, a bit of fruitiness, mild dry mild sweet finish, more bitterness

Mouth is med bod, very creamy nitro bubbles,

Overall solid English bitter, doesn't bring loads of malts or hops but it's not ESB level, just English bitter, so lands right where it should, and the nitro doesn't disctract
