From the pint can, it pours a deep dark black color with a modest, soon diminishing, brown head. The nose gets cherries, chocolate and bourbon among the roasted malts. The smooth brew travels over the tongue and you get the same: cherries, chocolate, possibly some raspberry along with the smooth dark malts and with a tinge of bourbon.
