Pours a cloudy brown with finger thick white head.
Aroma is unusual, kind of a malty, rye.... something. Pleasant, but very different.
I've not traditionally liked rye-based beers I've had in the past, but I can't say that about this one. The flavor has a definite rye note to it, but it's not unpleasant or overwhelming. It's a good mix of malt and rye with some sweetness mixed in. Finishes with some mild hops bitterness.
