In commemoration of Lexington's storied and historic neighborhood, their seldom-seen lager making pulls from the fermentation tanks with a crisp, clean and refreshing beer with low fuss and an effortless palate.
Bright golden straw and crystal clear, the beer's initial cottony froth retreats and leaves behind the delicate floral hop aromas and a grainy-sweet nose. Its taste is supple with sweetness- partly of the fresh baking bread quality from malt but also with a cereal raw grain sweetness in complement.
As the floral bouquet of honeysuckle turns to a spicy bitterness, its grain sweetness dissolves and leads with light apple-like sulfurs, hay or dry straw. Grassy in finish, the beer's light and creamy body retains a mild bready notion with herbal lemongrass and mint.
Light, crisp and refreshing, the lager is smooth with mild scrubbing action to close. Its carbonic bite leaves behind an iron mineral character that assists with the cleansing properties. Its bitter spice leaves a pleasant grassiness in aftertaste.
