Cask. Poured copper. Aroma was fruity and English. Sweet with floral aromas and flavors. Light sulphur. Mild bitterness. Almost has a sort of American influence. Perhaps it has some unique hops thrown in there. Far from intense and reasonably nuanced.

From a bottle in Edinburgh.
Hazy amber body with an ample white head.
Light bodied with soft, medium carbonation. Overall. very good mouthfeel.
Fruity and herbal, with a bit more English character than I prefer.

500ml bottle from Good Spirits Co, Glasgow:
This one started really well, an excellent looking beer really and one that seemed to let me down immediately after this initial success. The beer was very weak on the nose and this made it a struggle to detect much of anything but at least there was no off smell or anything disgusting on the nose. Things improved slightly when it came to the taste with some nice tropical fruits and hops making themselves known, not a bad beer in the end but definitely not a classic either.

Look - Bright, clear, light amber, excellent head retention, nice pale straw colour. Head slides reluctantly down the glass. Perfect.
Smell - Sweet, perfumed, highly aromatic. Must find out the hop, I love it.
Taste - Dry, very dry, honey sweet from the malt attempts to show through, but fails. Lovely dried apricots from the malt with chunky Seville marmalade flavour but the dryness begins to parch the tongue very early leaving the impression of stewed tannin tea.
Mouthfeel - Carbonation about right but big bubble lemonade feel. That dryness can't be overlooked.
Overall - I really enjoyed tasting this beer. So much flavour. So fresh. But one bottle would be enough because of how dry it is. Also leaves a big question. Where would I go from here? On the journey which is an evenings wonder away from sobriety where could you go? Not another beer, it would be like drinking ice cream soda after eating rhubarb. Jack Daniels maybe and plenty of it!
If I had to limit myself to one beer with a cheese and pickle sandwhich at lunch time - this would be perfect. But I'd have to ask for water afterwards.
