Look - Hopefully it's just the batch or something but out of two bottles their is so much head it takes about an hour to pour a beer without wasting it due to head overload
Smell - yeast and slight grainy hops
taste - slight citrus and yeast
Feel - way to much carbonation and that might be why the head is so big, can barely taste the beer
Overall - Hopefully this was just a bad batch

Pours a clear, golden color. 1/3 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of strong pale malt, wheat, slight hop, and slight earthy malt. Fits the style of an American Pale Wheat Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong pale malt, hint of sweet malt, wheat, earthy malt, and a hint of hops. Overall, a very malty and earthy wheat.

Had this on draft at Dammgoode Pizza in Fayetteville. This a very non-offensive wheat beer. Clean & tasteless, some wheat & pear flavors. Not some thing I would ever order again

I love Core. They brew some very good stuff. This is no exception. I must say, however, that I have a hard time comparing this beer to some of the unfiltered beers in the style. If that's the case, this beer doesn't pass muster. I'll try to explain below.
Appearance is golden straw. Small head. Not quite creamy, but not entirely bubbly like an AAL. No lacing.
Smell is yeasty, bready.
Taste is crisp. A little hoppy. Hint of citrus. Banana.
Feel is where I have a hard time comparing this beer to some others in the style. This beer lacks the robust mouth feel found in others. The feel is more like that of an AAL than Lagunitas, Boulevard, Goose Island, Harpoon. Don't get me wrong, this beer is much better than an AAL.
Overall, I really enjoyed this beer. I wish is was more like the aforementioned beers, but then again, those are some of my favorites, so that's asking a lot. I could drink this beer all summer long. Winter...not sure. It might be a little light for that.

This was my favorite beer at Core. A really nice tart, crisp bite to round out a very drinkable wheat beer. Excellent.

From a growler, pours clear pale straw yellow, very still and not much head.
Nose is banana, a little fruity, wheat, citrus, and earthy, like grass or straw. Flavors are a bit muted, citrus and fruity, but the finish is bitter and a little grainy, like the aftertaste from chewing grass. It's a wheat-based beer that is not refreshing.
Overall, not a huge fan of this one.
