Pours an effervescent mahigany with 3 fingers of tan head. Great lacing and head retention
S: Nutty, toasty, then some chocolate notes as this warms
T: Roasty, dry, a little coffee & woody hops & a touch of carob & coffee grounds up front. Woody hops, charred grain, & dryness as this warms, kind of astringent, just a touch of cocoa & dark chocolate too. Finishes astringent, dry with burnt grain & a little Baker's Chocolate
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation
This had potential, but turned into an astringent mess
