What an odd beer. Its a barleywine with apples, made in collaboration with a local cidery. The end result is a beer that doesnt taste like a beer nor a cider...nor apples, really. Its not gross and it doesnt taste bad its just...odd. Its barely malty and a tiny bit sweet and has an almost smoky backend that is super, super subtle. If youre nearby, give it a go if for nothing else than to prove that Im not crazy.
