Sweet with notes of brown sugar, maltiness, and a nice coffee finish that helps the beer finish dry enough to make you want the next sip. Stealthy in terms of hiding the abv and pretty enjoyable overall!

A golden pastry stout made with coffee, vanilla and fresh baked Mexican concha pastries. When bought on the release day, this beer came with a free concha as well. Its a very dessert-y stout and as such, is pretty sweet. I have to admit that i liked it better when accompanied with the pastry than without, as the breadiness of the concha helped tine the sugar down a bit (despite being covered in sugar itself). All in all, it s a great golden stout with a very creative recipe. I think it could use a pinch more coffee in it for my tastes but I wouldnt hesitate to guzzle back another pint either way.
