Brewed in collaboration with Mike Lackey of Great Lakes, this pale ale was fermented exclusively with Brettanomyces Lambicus. Contrary to the flavour profile found in many of our long-term aged brett barrel beers, this pale ale is not sour or funky.

This beer is brewed in collaboration with Great Lakes, and is already listed under that brewery. It has been a year or more and I'm not sure whether the recipe has changed at all. It's basically impossible to compare to a beer had once over a year ago, but going on my limited recollection, I liked the first batch a bit more. The Brett is present and nice, but the hops don't seem quite as vibrant as expected. I always find Galaxy to be pleasantly subtle, but perhaps it is a bit too subtle next to the Brett. The Mosaic hops are there but not as powerfully as they sometimes are. Still a nice beer - no problem finishing a glass - but it doesn't live up to my memory (likely unfair). Also, had immediately after Barn Owl 2, it didn't stand a chance.
