The "PEC" refers to Prince Edward County, where the malt for this beer came from. Very big melon scent, surprisingly pungent. Other tropical scents as well. I don't get the Simcoe very strongly in the nose, but it shows up when you take a drink. The melon and fruits provided by the Mosaic hops are joined with a bit of a piney backing. Mosaic is still the big flavour. There is something about Mosaic hops that doesn't quite gel with me. They have a remarkably bold flavour, but there is something I cannot put my finger on that bothers me. If you like Mosaic hops, this is a great presentation of them- flavourful, drinks well and the hops really shine.
