Pours a deep purple, an odd but magnificent look for a beer. Great nose with lots of blackberries and vanilla. Loads of sweetness especially from the vanilla. Overall a very interesting beer.

Quick: looks great a milky purple color which looks like a milkshake. Smell is blackberry, vanilla and light cream. Taste is quite nice following the nose with more prominent vanilla and a nice hops on the end. Feel is a little heavy with medium carbonation. This is a thick beer.
Another winner from Bellwoods. Very enjoyable.

In almost every respect, this beer lives up to its name. Completely opaque and purple, the nose is heavy on blackberry and yogurt. Although neither of those are components of it, the aroma reminds me of sangria. The vanilla is also present. The vanilla is quite strong once you drink, and the lactose is heavy. It really does seem like a warm blackberry milkshake. The good and the bad come with that- it is tasty, but heavy and hard to drink a lot of. I certainly preferred the pineapple version, which felt lighter and had a bit more of an IPA flavour. In this case, calling it an IPA is a bit silly- it is an entirely different kind of beer.
