Our first in what will be a series of fruited goses with lactose, this beer is soured and salted and left to condition on large amounts of blood orange puree and vanilla.

500ml bottle from brewery.

Murky orange with low head. Vanilla and citrus on the nose. Strong and pleasant vanilla flavours up front with bright orange following. Just slightly creamy. Excellent and can't wait for he next in the series.

A very atypical Gose, as it has lactose and vanilla added. The result is very similar to the Milkshark series, but with a mild tartness and none of the light bitterness of the IPA series. Happily for me, the salt is near unnoticeable, just faintly accompanying the blood orange, vanilla and lemon. The tartness, big fruit flavour and low abv make it great for the heat.
