Pours cloudy yellow straw. A rocky but shortlived head that leaves lots of lace behind on the glass. The aroma is an explosion of juicy, tropical, citrusy, grassy, dank hops. The taste is completely dominated by a tropical fruit onslaught. Some light pale biscuity malts in the back, as well as herbal, slightly tart notes. The mouthfeel is light bodied with a prickly, sparse carbonation. Medium to high bitterness and mango and peach hop notes in the long finish.
Another fantastic hop bomb from Bellwoods. Highly drinkable, a must try,

Golden plum body, hazy. White head has low retention, even with an aggressive pour.
Orange, pine, mango aromas - big bright and fresh. Lovely.
Palate is fruity and light, mix of citrus and exotic, before the strong bitter notes of the hops kick in. It's mouth-puckeringly dry, with good length. Light/medium body, medium carbonation.
This is a great summer beer, well balanced between fresh fruit and bitter (but not pithy) flavours. Refreshing.

On tap at Bellwoods Brewery, Toronto, a 16oz pour into a goblet glass.
Appearance: It was a hazy yellow orange colour (like pineapple juice) with a thin white head that dissipated fairly quickly while leaving some lacing.
Aroma: Tropical mango, peach, yoghurt-y with hints of mandarin orange on the finish.
Taste: Juicy mango, peach, apricot and mandarin. Only lightly bitter.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with moderate to low carbonation.
Overall: Very nice, juicy and so easy to drink.

This latest version of Runes uses both Simcoe and Mosaic lupulin powder. Looks like a glass of orange juice- completely opaque. Quite pungent, with notes of mandarin orange, basil, peach and faint pine. Tastes great- juicy with a herbal/piney backing, low malt presence and mild bitterness. The finish is slightly astringent, which is the only thing keeping me from drinking it like the juice that it looks like. Very good.
