Collaboration with Trillium Brewing Company

This hazy dank-bomb was brewed in collaboration with Trillium Brewing Company when they were in town for Witchstock 2017. Inspired by their Cutting Tiles, we used copious amounts of Galaxy hops and incorporated local Niagara wildflower honey from our friends at Rosewood Estates Winery.

Creamed honey colour. Opaque. White head dissaptes minimal lacing.

Lots of flavour but the honey really shines. Even the wildflowers.

Smooth with a long bittersweet finish.

A spritzy, crackling bright white head forms quickly. There's a thick coat of glaze on its pale orange body. Hazy as anything.

Ultra bright pineapple and Mandarin orange dominate, Oozy honey and creamsicle give it texture. There's a resiny dank echo with the same richness as the fruit.

There's more stick and more green, resin, sap and pine that the Five Alive and pineapple have to compete with, which they do. It holds its zing and its twang from beginning to end. Fuzzy peaches, clementine, and pine sap linger well into the finish.

Its level of acidity reminds me of juice which really accentuates its dryness and green, resiny qualities. It also gives it a bit of a filmy texture. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation.

Juicy, hazy, and super fragrant; right in line with the trend. A little bit more fluff and cream and a little less acidity and fruit bite and this would be near exceptional. Great nonetheless.

Murky, white-hued straw. Not much head considering the protein and oil content.

Huge hop aroma is very weedy, with underlying five a live.

Flavour echoes the aroma, very juicy, with some acidity. Oddly I can taste the honey. Why honey?

Mouthfeel is acidic, but somewhat smooth... slightly drying finish.

Thanks @BakaGaijin!

On tap at Thirsty & Miserable. Above average beer, whose main feature is that the sweet honey overshadows the hops. So an interesting combination. Quaffable. Better than Bellwoods hoppy beers these days, but a different step for Trillium.

Milky yellow color with yellowish off-white head. Aroma is dank with cabbage and other vegetal notes. Taste follows with the dank and juicy hops but there is also a weird bitterness in the middle, like astringent, dried citrus rinds. Medium to full body with soft carbonation. There is some hop burn and astringency but the hop flavors are really nice.
