A bold, sour DIPA brewed in collaboration with Aslin Beer Co out of Vermont, this beer is a mash up of our beloved Jelly King, and their "Master of Karate" DIPA. Brewed with a oats and wheat malt for extra oomph, and a hefty dry hop of Galaxy, Mosaic, and Amarillo, this beer amplifies acidity and hop aromatics effortlessly. A suped up version of Jelly King, if you will.

This one pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells very pineapple forward, with some lemon, a dusty Bretty funk, and some light bitterness.
This is an older bottle, and it’s quite funked up with time. This is a good in my eyes, though. It’s still quite hop forward, with a load of funky pineapple, lemon, grassy bitterness, and a wave of dusty and musty funk on the back end.
This is medium bodied, pretty crisp, with a nice drinkability.
I imagine this might be a little too Bretty for some, but I really enjoy it.

Got this one from hopsolutely this past summer
From a 500ml bottle into a snifter
ASLIN Collaboration
APPEARANCE: Pouts a 1+ finger, medium-thinner, foamy, bubbly white head with okay retention. Muddy, murky amber yellow with no real carbonation evident. Head slowly fades to a full wisp and ends up rather flat looking by the end.
SMELL: Tropical fruits, passion fruit, mango, pineapple and melon on the nose. This is insanely fruity and all over your face. Really bold and forthcoming. Awesome.
TASTE: Tropical fruits all over the place. Melon, honeydew, passion fruit, mango and pineapple everywhere. Bold and lingering finish of tropical fruits, mango, passion fruit, pineapple and a mild note of bitterness as well. This is like fruit juice.
PALATE: Medium body and medium levels of carbonation. A bit creamy on the palate, goes down fine and finishes a bit dry.
OVERALL: This stuff is silly. It's basically as yummy as juice and has a bit of a beer-like alcohol in it. It's jelly, basically. And it's my master. Every now and then a beer comes along that you just want to brew yourself so you can have piles of it all the time and laugh at all your friends while you roll around in the bushes. This is one of them. Thank you for making life worth living.

Was very nice pre-fast drink. More hop than sour, but still acknowledgement of the jelly king element. Very drinkable. Lots of hops add nuance. Maybe the best of recent collabs.
