A special beer brewed once every year or so, 3 Minutes to Midnight is our Imperial Stout that’s aged in oak barrels (previously containing Bring Out Your Dead) and conditioned on cherry and cocoa. The 2018 version was also aided by a generous dose of vanilla bean, which always feels like a welcome addition.
The resulting beer is complex, with a velvety body and smooth carbonation. Most notably, it showcases the harmonious balance between tart stone fruit, and rich chocolate.

Without a doubt, this is completely ruined by the cherries. The sweet and sour intrusion incinerates the "stoutness" within, which you can tell could have been pretty awesome. The $14 retail just makes it a disgrace. Honestly, the nose is the only good thing.
