Grandma’s Boy is a wild ale blend, aged in oak foeders for the better part of a year. Defined by firm acidity, refined brett character, and spritzy carbonation, it’s a beer that balances stone fruit flavour with soft minerality.
This variant conditioned on fresh Shiro Plums from Niagara, imparting notes of marzipan, citrus, and sweet tarts.

Very drinkable, something you can say of a plum that is not normally eaten but tasted great and crushable beer.

Cloudy golden body with a small white head. Big musty nose with plum and yogurt aromas. Taste has the plum explode on the palate with yogurt, minerals, slight brett, and a kiss of citrus zest. Feel is bright, playfully funky and sour, generally delicate. A really nice plum wild ale with plenty of delicate nuance

Bottle: Poured a bright yellow color ale with a large foamy head with OK retention and limited lacing. Aroma of tart notes with light oak and nice fresh plums notes is great. Taste is also a great mix of light oak notes, some tart notes and light funky yester with some vinous notes and fresh plum notes. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Wonderful sour ale with great level of complexity.
