This decadent, one-off, double barrel iteration of Bring Out Your Dead spent a combined 21 months in barrels: 12 months in Cognac and an additional 9 months in Heaven Hill Rye. It will not be around for long.
Spirit-forward with a balanced sweetness, and a firm backbone of raisin, anise, cocoa and brown sugar. Absurdly delicious.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of black chocolate with some rye notes and some light residual sugar notes. Taste is a mix of rye and cognac with some woody notes with huge black cholate notes and some residual sugar notes. Body is full with nice oily like texture with some good carbonation and light warming alcohol notes also discernible. Great double barrel stout.

The best Canadian stout I have ever had.
