Pours clear copper with no head or carbonation streams evident. Tropical hops and caramel malts in the nose. The taste of orangey, grapefruit hops and bready malts - no pine which should be prominent in a West Coast IPA. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with sparse carbonation. Medium bitterness and lots of tropical hops in the finish.
Visually unimpressive and not like a West Coast IPA but not terrible.

Unfortunately, this not a West Coast IPA. It is too hazy, not dry enough or bitter enough. It has the usual muddled hop character and flabby mouthfeel of a NEIPA. If you added sparklingly water to Cat Lady or Witchshark this is what you’d get. It’s NEIPA Light.

A good effort overall, with Dominion City. The good: hazy but some West Coast element to it. Thick looking, but in fact regular mouthfeel and good water. the Not-so-good: Lupin powder, yeast in aroma, a touch of skunk taste.
