ASWC is a series of stouts we created to feature local coffee roasters, and observe the results of different beans in beer. We keep the ABV relatively low, the body chewy and voluptuous, and let the coffee do most of the talking.

Poured from a can - April batch. Pours thick, black with some sediment. Large coffee collar that lasted well. Burnt coffee nose forward. First sip offers thick chocolate coffee with roasted finish. Good balance overall.

Can: Poured a pitch-blakc color stout with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of floral coffee notes with some roasted malt notes and light black chocolate notes. Taste is a nice mix of floral coffee notes with residual sugar notes with light roasted flavours and some faint black chocolate notes with no significant amount of bitterness detectible. Body is full with good carbonation. Nice coffee flavoured beer with lots of complexity while keeping a relatively low ABV.
