An IPA is a series that acts as a creative outlet for all things DIPA from Oss. A DIPA takes it up a notch.
In this batch we explore a slightly less dry, rounder hoppy beer. We chose a new (to us) yeast that's less attenuative, modified our grain and water bills, and dosed it with the same massive dry hop that all our DIPAs receive. The resulting beer finishes a little higher, with super aromatics and a soft mouthfeel - in short, it smells and tastes very yummy.
This batch of A DIPA is hopped with Lotus, Mosaic and El Dorado.

Pours a hazed, glowing gold color with a frothy, medium sized head that lasts the whole glass. A complex mix of fruit in the nose, with some resiny bitterness too. The taste is of mango, raspberries, pineapple, lemon, rose water, with a light bready background. The mouthfeel is full bodied with high carbonation. High bitterness in the everlasting finish, complimented by juicy berry and citrus notes.
Bellwoods makes kick ass IPAs and this is yet another one. Ultra dank and complex. A must try.
