Good head production and decent retention. Minimal lacing. Body has more than a slight haze (more than a Kellerbier), which makes me think that this is likely an unfiltered WC-style IPA.
Throwback WC IPA on the nose, with notes of resin, pine, mild to moderate dankness, pepper, grapefruit, peach, white grape, green herbs, pale grains, and a touch of caramel malt.
Similar on the palate. Low sweetness, but also less bitterness than expected - although it certainly grows through the sip. Very light bodied given the ABV and style; drinks more like an APA. Crisp with plenty of bite.
Tasting notes of lemon, cracker, pine, grapefruit peel, white dough, orange.
Overall, a very nice throwback IPA, but nothing particularly special.
