473 ml can served cold into a pint glass from the brewery. Canned 3/23/2022
Appearance - Hazy dark brown colored brew with a finger of light tan head and good staying power. Stout-esque
Smell - Lots of citrus, some passionfruit and lychee mostly. Maybe a faint trace of chocolate,
Taste - Chocolate for sure up front then transitions to some sweet, maybe candied fruit flavors like lychee and pineapple. Finishes quite bitter and with grapefruit on the palate.
Mouthfeel - Smooth and creamy, full bodied with a sort of dry finish.
Overall - A well executed beer for what it is, at the same time, chocolate and IPA's just don't really go together.
