He is a ruler, an overlord, a top dog, a crowned head. In the realm of all that is tart and sour, Jelly King reigns supreme.
Rather than choosing between sour or hoppy, we decided to create a beer that would be both at the same time. Showcasing the aromatic benefits of a generous dry hop, harnessing the prowess of lactic acidity, and coming to a bottle near you without a pesky slumber in oak, Jelly King is the fermented embodiment of immediate gratification.
This limited edition Jelly King variant was conditioned on loads of passionfruit, orange and guava.

Pours an orange color with a hint of yellow. Smells strongly of pleasant citrous. Taste is more heavy on passionfruit with a nice bitter orange taste. Guava might be in there, but not as noticeable as the other fruit. Nice thing is, i can tell it's real fruit and not just flavoring. At least i think so. You have to like sour beers to like this one, and luckily I've gotten used to these now. Never used to drank them but they've grown on me quite a bit. Not overly sweet, and hides any sort of alcohol.
Would get these again for sure. Jelly King has a lot of good ones, so check them out.

At my lady Pamela's house; bottled and chilled, from my favourite LCBO at The Roundhouse Centre in nearby Windsor. My fourth beer from the Toronto, ON brewery.

Served cold into a tulip. LCBO purchase for about $7.50 CDN.
Appearance - Hazy peach colored beer, with a couple of fingers of off-white head. Modest staying power. Lots of effervescence in the glass.
Smell - Guava, tangerine and sprinkle of lemon on the nose. Definitely Jelly King, but a touch different.
Taste - Fairly tart initially with some tangerine flavors and guava then transition sweeter with a more juicy fruitiness. Probably passionfruit. Reverts to tart again to close.
Mouthfeel - Very smooth and supple. Expressive carbonation and eminently refreshing.
Overall - Another really good offshoot of the initial Jelly King.
