You are looking at a very-fied version of our Green Velvet IPA: Very Green Velvet.
First, we took the recipe for Green Velvet and intensified all the aspects we liked about it, i.e. the way it smells and tastes. We then took the name “Green Velvet” and added a strategically-placed “Very” to the front of it. Get it? The results are a full-bodied Double IPA with notes of pineapple, orange blossom and watermelon.

473ml can served cold into a pint glass. Purchased from the brewery. Canned May 2, 2023.
Appearance - Hazy pale golden straw color with a finger plus of white head. Super murky and turbid. Small ring of lacing left behind.
Smell - Citrus plus lots of weedy greenery. Citrus is Grapefruit, papaya and pineapple with the pineapple perhaps being the biggest star.
Taste - Some mango with general citrus and hop oils on the close. Not terribly bitter, but a harshness on the close. Sweetness with wheat malt base and pineapple in the first 2/3rds of every sip. Booze very well hidden. Peach and apricot make a brief foray in here as well.
Mouthfeel - Smooth, creamy and juicy with medium-full body, low carbonation and quite crushable. Velvety indeed. Finishes semi-dry.
Overall - Pretty solid DIPA with a great feel and easy drinkability.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with some pineapple notes. Taste is a mix of citrusy hops notes with some huge dank floral hops undertones, some pineapple notes with some residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Well brewed NEIPA with nice hop undertones and pineapple notes.

Pours cloudy straw with a crackly, dish foam head. The aroma is of orange, lime, apricot hops and a bit of fresh baked bread in the back. The taste is an onslaught of grapefruit, orange, apricot, lemon hops with high resiny bitterness. The mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation.
A fantastic DIPA from my favorite producer of hoppy beers in Canada. Excellent stuff.

This beer is not green.
Pouring quite pale with a slight head, the nose is of very light hops, citrus and perhaps honey. Also slightly metallic smelling, which is unfortunate.
Silky feel with earthy hop taste, along with citrus. Somewhat dry and tart, overall this one is worth at least one try.
