Double Monogamy Idaho 7 is a spin on our classic series of single hop IPAs -- the delicious, controlled experiment designed to give us all a better understanding of what a hop can do when it flies solo.
In this version we bumped up the hops, taking us into DIPA territory.
What it smells like, what it tastes like: Brewed exclusively with Idaho 7 hops, this beer showcases notes of bright citrus, tropical nectar and lightly resinous/piney flavours.

Pours hazy peach with a frothy, compact head. Tangerine, lemon, sherbet in the nose. Citrusy hops with loads of tangerine in the taste. Some soapiness in the back. The mouthfeel is full bodied with medium carbonation. High bitterness with loads of lingering tangerine and soapiness in the long finish.
An interesting DIPA with a complex but a bit flawed hop profile. There's an astringent soapy quality in the background. Still very dank and worth a try.
