473 ml can from the brewery. Canned January 30, 2023. Served cold into a tulip. Listed as a Coconut & Key Lime Cheesecake.
Appearance - Murky pale yellow or golden color. A finger of tight white head that lives on moderately. No much lacing to speak of.
Smell - Lots of lime, some hints of coconut and a creamy pastry backdrop. Smells like dessert.
Taste - Plenty of lime for some bitterness definitely a creamy backbone with just a bit of pastry. Coconut is subdued but shows up more in the aftertaste. Booziness can be noted here.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied with creamy and velvety texture. Carbonation is light but with the lime expresses itself well. Finish is sort of juicy and creamy and flavors linger on the aftertaste.
Overall - A beer that is transparent in what it is and superbly executed. Would love to have access to this all the time just to have a couple in the fridge for a special dessert treat when dessert won't satisfy alone. Great job and if a milkshake IPA with coconut and key lime and cheesecake is your ideal, then this is an absolutely home run and must try.
