Well this was a good drinker, semi-sweet chocolate dominated everything. A chocolate bar took over the beer. Confection pastry stout, not complex just chocolate.

Sampling a 500 ml bottle at cellar temp and pouring into my snifter. Date stamp on label is Feb 24 2023.
the beer pours jet black and fairly thick in appearance. A dense creamy tan head of 1 cm foams up and fades to a sturdy surface covering and leaves some scattered lattice on swirls and sips.
Aroma on this beer is dark chocolate fudge, some cocoa powder and milk chocolate candy bar. I also get a little roasted malt note. Chocolate heavy, but not overly sweet and not boozy. Hop character is also absent.
First sip reveals a pretty thick body with smooth and full texture. Very mild and soft carbonation. Some coating on my lips when I sip the beer.
Flavor is all rich fudge and chocolate mixing with a little bit of a roast note. No hops , no booze either. The beer is very dark chocolate forward, but that is also what it promises on the label.
Im very happy with this beer and glad to have tried it.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some light lacing notes. Aroma of rich black chocolate notes with some nice bourbon notes. Taste is also a mix of rich black chocolate notes with some bourbon notes and residual sugar notes. Body is full with a syrupy texture and medium carbonation with some alcohol notes that are discernible. Solid BA stout with great rich chocolate flavors.

500 ml bottle from the brewery for an arm and a leg. Dark chocolate Imperial Stout. Bottled Feb 24, 2023. Served cold into a trappist glass.
Appearance - Virtually black with a slow forming but eventually frothy finger and a half of fluffy deep tan head. Great staying power an imposing in the glass.
Smell - Lots of malt, some sweetness, dark chocolate notes. Not a lot else, but aromas have good intensity.
Taste - Lots of dark chocolate, a little molasses to close, but just semi-bitter dark hcooclate through and through. Great balance between bitter and sweet.
Mouthfeel - Full bodied, velvety, carbonation is low and very smooth, with the frothiness adding something akin to air bubbles in chocolate.
Overall - Straightforward, no extra frills, but excellently executed imperial stout that stays very true with a rich dark chocolate flavor being the entire focal point of this brew.
