473ml can served cold into a pint glass. Canned December 1, 2023.
Appearance - Super hazy, yellowy and turbid brew. Half finger of off-white head on top that fizzles away pretty quick.
Smell - Big punchy tropical notes. Grapefruit with some papaya and hints of mango. A slightly earthy dankness behind that fruity exterior.
Taste - More orange than grapefruit again with some papaya and plenty of melon in the aftertaste. Modest bitterness and while not sweet, does have a nice juiciness to the flavor.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied, medium-high carbonation, fairly juicy with a slight peppery sensation on the tongue to finish.
Overall - Another very well crafted IPA, from a prolific line of IPA's. Southern Cross isn't the best of the series, but is certainly far from the worst.
