This 2024 version is made with Alphonso Mangoes.
Pours no foam but had some fizz on top. Deep orange color with some yeast or pulp floating around. Has the distinct wild ale smell to it alongside mango pulp. Taste is a little tangy with that distinct wild ale flavor. Not heavy with the mango flavor and having a little less than what I would of liked but it's not missing either. Oddly enough it's also kind of lacking the overall wild ale flavor too, just a bit. Bellwood's has better examples from their Intermodal series and even Motley Crew 2025 was pretty good ( although it was made with grapes instead of mango ).
Either way it's not a bad beer. Just a little lacking on certain traits that you would expect from a wild ale.
I would buy it again but don't think a $17 price tag fits here.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
