Poured a deep black color with little foam. Smells strongly of chocolate and coffee.
Taste is very potent and intense with lots and lots of 100% dark cacao chocolate. Thick and syrupy.
Hint of capsaicin spiciness.
Almost reminds me of home made hot chocolate, with no sugar. I actually kind of like it which is rare for something this high in alcohol. 11% for 2025 version.
Would be on the fence about purchasing this again next time (because imperial stouts aren't my cup of tea anyways) but there is something nice about this one.
Just make sure you like chocolate if you ever buy this one.
I would rate it higher but like I said, this isn't my favorite type of beer.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some cinnamon and vanilla notes with nice light spicy peppers notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some vanilla notes with some spicy peppers notes, some cocoa and a semi-sweet finale. Body is pretty full with an oily texture and good carbonation with no discernible alcohol notes. Nice Mexican style stout with a great balancer of flavors and very good drinkability.

Pours a thick, black color. Velvety, caramel colored head with good retention. Cinnamon, vanilla on the nose. Strong chocolate flavor up front followed by spicy, pepper flavors. Great stout overall!
