We're big fans of complicated names and traditional beers, and this collab with True History Brewing is a testament to both.
This pale lager pays tribute to the pre-Prohibition style, capturing its signature light, crisp character while incorporating green corn and six-row barley in the malt bill.
The result is a finely balanced beer, where subtle sweetness meets a gentle bitterness, and offers up notes of pale tobacco, golden raisins and freshly cut grass. Dee-lish.

Better than expected taste, quaffable though not chuggable, likely better with a spicey meat meal, with or without spicey corn chips. Lagerish yeast yes but also some complex edge.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
