A: Wow. Poured a big deep brown body, nearly black with a massive brown cap. Even after I finished this beer there was ring after ring of rich brown lacing spiraling down the glass. Beautiful!
S: Deep rich chocolate, roasted barley some light espresso, smoke and peat with a light pine resin
T: Very nice. An immediate brush of rich chcocolate and roastiness leaves an immediate creamy feel, coffee and some light citrus and pine resin come into play. I did find myself looking for a bit more n the hop bill. The peat and light smokiness leaves a nice lingering finish backed with the roasted malt and chocolate is a nice
M: Medium to big body, pretty hearty, dry and tasty with a subtle bitterness. The palate is weighed down with richness
O: A good CDA but my only issue was I felt it lacked a bit more in the ol' hop department.
