I probably haven't recovered from O-Fest yet (it usually takes me until March to want that malty lager taste again.)
So I may not be entirely fair to Wundervall to say it is only slight above average. Partly this also is preference: I like malty lagers (and not hoppy ones) and I am a traditionalist preferring the marzen to the festbier. But to keep an open mind, I will have Wundervall again... but let's try the Autumn of 2025.
This is only my second from 3 Sheeps and I already gave them a micro-review a couple of years back. At almost 14 years old, they haven't changed much; updated their website, improved their taproom offerings. All good, but not too much for 14 years. I suggest that they might focus on a niche and become the best at that and expand outside of Wisconsin. Just a thought.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
