smell: cows corn and a green John Deere tractor... That's the aroma right out of the can... Now it's in the glass... It's more earthy subtle with hay... And there's a mineral note... It's probably not tractor grease but somewhat metallic.
Look: I see sunshine in a cup, clover honey... I had to pore this one hard to wake it up... I think it was too cold... That caused the bubbles to be rather large and it is fading quickly... Lacing is forming on the glass as I'm anticipating... This is an ale so we don't want to drink it right out of this fridge... unless it's damn hot or you're really thirsty.
Taste: Corn Flakes... Yep it's a breakfast beer... I could imagine a little oat structure but maybe that's just barley... It's Grainy ... As it should be... Now there's a sweetness that unfolds... And a hint of white flower probably a daisy... And something yellow too... Not black-eyed Susan but maybe a lemon colored marigold very subtle.... It's end is sweeter... Than I would expect.. clover honey... Ester... This is an ale so that's valid too.
Feel... The mouth feels fuller than I would expect.... It's heavy in spots... but it's not the whole cow... like the ale from New Glarus, but it has similar similar farmhouse character... Not a classic barn but maybe a hay shed made of steel... It's feel is a little bit more like younger stock... heifers and small steers...
Overall : cheers... This is a farmhouse ale... Corn and maybe a couple of oat notes... A breakfast beer from Wisconsin: Its Cheerios and Cornflakes but probably not Wheaties... If that's your preference.

12 ounce can into willi becher glass, canned on 6/4/2025. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy pale golden straw color with a 1 finger foamy and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, pear, red apple, cracker, corn, wood, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Taste follows with lemon, pear, red apple, cracker, corn, wood, herbal, grass, peppercorn, pine, and yeast earthiness. Medium pine/woody/herbal bitterness on the finish. High carbonation, light body, and very crisp/clean/refreshing, nearly bone dry finish. Balanced light grainy malt and sticky/resinous hops in the mouthfeel. Light lingering hop resins and minimal hop astringency. Great balance of Hop, yeast, and malt flavors. Slightly watery but very spot on for the style, and extremely drinkable.

Good fullness, not heaviness. The creaminess clear, not overly dominant. Fresh minerally underpinning. The finish has an uptick in peach and apricot fruit. Personally I think the carbonation is too strong and doesn't allow the creaminess to spread. Want more roundness and flavor persistence in a cream ale.

Received from @GreenBayBA !
L- Pours an ever so slightly hazy golden color.
S- There’s an herbal, almost algae/seaweed aroma that’s not off putting at all.
T- Crisp, dry unusual flavor for a cream ale.
F- Light mouthfeel with a dry finish. Lively carbonation.
O- The most intriguing cream ale that I’ve had. I did enjoy it!

Appearance: Clear yellow, good head.
Smell: Does smell creamy with a little fruit cup note as well.
Taste: Very mild sweetness to start, continues into mild corn, then finishes with a light grassy note. Light bodied.
Overall: Wisconsinitis is a very easy drinking cream ale. Very comparable to Spotted Cow, maybe lighter in flavor and body. Would be good for a tailgate or post lawn-mowing beer if you didn't want a macro lager.

Had on tap. A delightful ode to the gold calf of the wisconsin beer world. A CREAM ALE. Say it louder for the folks in the back! Anyways, murky golden body with a white head. It smells like the beer of inspiration but more grainy. Taste too with some lemon in there. Less full in the body than the moo beer, higher carbonation, but this leans into the true cream ale tradition more, satisfying in its own right. Go Pack Go

From a can on Wisconsin. Easy drinking and smooth. Wish this was more available because it would be great on a summer day. Nice example of the style.

I really enjoy farmhouses, saisons, cream ales, but this one is a miss in my opinion. Too carbonated, too light, too clear. It’s drinkable, but it doesn’t quite nail the experience. Will stick with Spotted Cow for this style.

From a 12oz can dated 05/23/2024
This is a somewhat clear pouring beer and golden in color. There's a very thick white head - 4 fingers. The head retention is damn good, but there's no lacing on the glass.
Aroma is faint, but I do get a slight grain aroma here.
Flavor is creamy in nature. There's a bit of grain in here. Some floral elements. Slight bitterness on the backside.
Body is light and slightly creamy feeling.
Not bad at all and easy drinking.

7/20/24 - Sheboygan, WI - $6 16 oz draft into skinny nonic glass.
Appearance: Clear faint straw yellow pour, heavy sustained carbonation, creamy white rich luxurious head. 4.5
Aroma: Nice strong sulfur mineral water, cracker bread aroma. Enticing. 4.25
Taste: Consistent with aroma, sulfur, bread, lighter in strength. Nice. 3.75
Mouthfeel: Light body, carbonation seen more than felt, gentle. Balanced, hoppy, bitter and pretty dry. Bread mineral water finish. 3.75
This is a solid offering, don’t believe the sulfur is part of this style but the rest is. Would enjoy especially on a warm sunny day. 4.0

This is a decent cream ale and bought it because of its sense of humor. But does 3 Sheeps have Wisconsinitis also?
After 15 years, I'm still waiting for 3 Sheeps to break out and focus on a niche. But they are still having fun after so many years. So, they are getting it done.
This copies the classic cream ale well. A little sulphur and some good scrubbing and a mixed malt bill (think corn?)
Being a copy of the classic, I think I'll drink it with a veggie burger. Cheers !
