On tap for the 4th Annual LA Beer Week Beer Festival at Union Station in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy orange-white head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus zest, and some earthy and herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with a slight onion flavor and an alcohol kick on the finish. There is a mild herbal hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty but is quite herbal tasting.
