5.50% ABV confirmed. Served on-draught into a 4.5oz sampler in a flight of 4; each sampler was $2.00 USD. Expectations were average. Reviewed from notes taken 8 days ago. "Simcoded" Pale Ale.
A: Pours a one finger head of white colour. Slightly creamy. Nice thickness. Average (~2 minute) retention.
Body colour is a clear pale copper. Translucent. No yeast particles are visible. No bubble show.
Sm: Pale malts. Floral hop character. Some oily hops. Refreshing. No yeast or alcohol is detectable. Clean and inviting. Pleasant, with diverse notes. A mild to moderate strength aroma. I'm excited to try it.
T: Clean and pleasant. Floral hops, pale malts, some oily hop character. Nice body. Refreshing. No yeast or alcohol comes through. Balanced and flavorful. Tasty, if simple. Very approachable sessionable stuff. Little subtlety. It's well constructed overall.
Mf: Clean, smooth, and wet. Not as crisp as I'd like. Suits the flavour profile generally well. Facilitates delivery of the flavours nicely. A bit oily. Nice presence on the palate.
Dr: Refreshing and drinkable. A respectable little pale ale from Haven. I'd get it again.

On tap at Haven Gastropub in Pasadena, CA.
Pours a clear orange with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Thin rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, citrus zest, and tropical fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus and tropical fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with some great fruity hop aromas and flavors .
