On nitro tap at Haven Gastropub in Pasadena, CA.
Billed as a chocolate wheat beer.
Pours a clear dark honey brown with a foamy tan head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, caramel, and slight cocoa aromas. Taste is much the same with caramel and slight cocoa flavors on the finish. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat and creamy mouthfeel. Overall, this is a below average beer with a chocolate presence that is subdued and pretty boring.
