Look: Light copper/gold. Starts off effervescent, but die off quickly.

Smell: Slightly malty. Spicy and herbal. Not very aromatic. Slight tart fruit.

Taste: Slight bitterness. Minute amount from hops, other from yeast and herb/spice. A bit of caramel and sweetness, but more on the dry side. Grassy.

Feel: Light - flat - dry.

Overall: Ok. Many better Saisons to choose from out there.

Head of big bubbles that fades completely. Color is like honey. Aroma of honey, mint, wildflowers. Palate of sweet-sour honey, wild flowers, chemical perfume note, but generally very pleasant with some complexity and pleasant tart, tongue tingling finish that fades in lemon, pine needles. Pros good nose, medium plus intensity, some complexity- sweet sour syrupy; enjoyable. 89/100. Other Seasonals: Type 2 IPA = pleasant sweet/bitter lemon grapefruit note but very simple 83/100. Chinook Hop Bo-bomb = off lemon, perfume, very simple and unpleasant 78/100. Hex Maibock= pretty pleasant lemon, banana, bubblegum fading into overalls syrupy sweet banana cotton candy 79/100.

16 oz can. Pours clear straw gold with a medium bubbly white head that goes to a thin film that leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is sweet sugary bubblegum malt and banana.

The flavor is sweet sugary doughy malt with banana and a little Belgian funk. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, too much sweet banana.

one of the lightest saisons i can recall, very very pale and simple on the grain profile, and the yeast is more belgian than anything, quite understated just like the grain, this is a fine beer for sessioning, but a little weak for winter. pale yellow in color but it has a decent head on it, very clear for the style, no sediment visible at all. what i like about it, aside from its easy going yeast, is the light lemony citrus character it has in the finish, really refreshing. not enough funk on the whole for me though, and this is a shadow of a true belgian farmhouse ale, but for what it is, its pretty solid. carbonation is good and the body is very light, finish is clean. i look for a little more grain character and a whole lot more interesting yeast influence in my saison, but i had no problem drinking this down.

A solid saison, and a good beer to drink sitting on the porch. While at 5.1 abv, it's not technically a session beer, but darn near.

A rather clear saison and light head. Not a big deal, but not really to style.

Spicy and somewhat hoppy aroma. It's not a smack-you-in-the-face saison, nor does it have that sulfur aroma like some farmhouse beers. I'd call it a beginner's aroma to saison

Flavor is a bit more to style. Spice and banana, some sweet honey and light biscuit. Flavors are light and spread out, not a dominant, one sided beer. Soft carbonation gives the bubble, just shy of dryness.
